Kapil Kaushik has built an impressive culinary career, leading the kitchens of esteemed venues across the UK—from Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium to Leeds Castle, The Kia Oval, and the Emirates Stadium. Originally from Delhi, his journey in the UK began at Oloroso, a celebrated European restaurant in Edinburgh, where he honed his craft and developed a deep appreciation for high-quality ingredients and refined cooking techniques. In 2004, Kapil’s innovative approach to Indian cuisine earned him the prestigious International Indian Chef of the Year award. His philosophy centers around simplicity—elevating high-quality British produce with authentic Indian spices and traditional cooking methods. Passionate about regional Indian cuisine, he has dedicated years to researching and refining traditional dishes, striking a thoughtful balance between heritage and innovation. A strong advocate for sustainability, Kapil believes in transforming humble ingredients into extraordinary culinary experiences.
